The Covid Era.... AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Well.... we are in a nightmare that feels like we'll never wake up from!!! Since March... and it's now the end of July.... we have been faced with Covid 19. A pandemic coronavirus that has forced everyone to wear masks and close down businesses, schools, gyms, malls... all but essential businesses. The third week of March your preschool closed and what we were hoping was only a few weeks delay turned into never going back. Now we are in the middle of summer and sports and pools are closed - along with your favorite places to play like Disneyland and Magic Mountain :( But! We have been able to go to the beach - with social distancing and strong winds - no mask wearing is necessary! Thank goodness we live in a great house with a great swingset, plenty of bike riding and running around our neighborhood (without masks) and lots of gardening and landscaping room :) So even though these past few months have been a bust, we are very blessed to be safe and healthy and still make the most out of the lock down situation. One day - this will all be past us and we will get back to our normal life... praying this happens soon :) In the meantime, I'm going to post pictures from Spring and Summer up to this point. You had a fantastic and fun 4th birthday... even though we couldn't have a huge preschool party with all of your friends. We facetimed with everyone and played outside. Your friend Sarah from preschool dropped off a present and you girls got to play outside some. We took a trip to San Luis Obisbo a few weeks ago to have a change of scenery. We got to see sea otters and elephant seals and swim at the hotel pool! Enjoy the pictures!

Here's a few great photo moments before Covid! We went to Indiana to watch Ashlyn play volleyball, just started a new soccer season, had a fun muddy puddle rainy day, and you were tall enough to ride new rides at Magic Mountain! (The swinging pirate ship... your first adult ride! Whoo hoo!!)
